weddings and nikon’s 35mm f/1.4G

Having shot many a wedding with the 24-70mm f/2.8 and 70-200mm f/2.8 powerhouses, being able to rely upon such quality lenses was very satisfying.

I’m shooting my brother’s wedding this week and decided to bring along my new Nikon 35mm f/1.4G for its first serious shoot. I’ve never shot an entire wedding with prime glass before, but from the test shoots I’ve run this through recently (NY City and some portraiture), I’m rather excited to start putting it through its paces.

I’ll post a couple post-event this weekend; now onto finishing my Best Man speech.
